Guy Bourdin

Bourdin’s career as a fashion photographer spanned a whole five decades before his death in 1991. Creating sensual, provocative and sometimes shocking haute couture editorials, Bourdin tailored his compositions specifically to the medium of the printed pages they were to appear on. Likened to the controversial Helmut Newton, since his death Bourdin has been hailed one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time. You can check out extensive galleries of his work here!
